Kampot Highlight Tour

Kampot is one of the hidden gems of this part of the world. This sleepy charming little town is surrounded by impressive mountains and home to gorgeous French colonial architecture. The grand river that runs through the centre of it leads out to the sea and it is common to see the bright turquoise fishing boats going out or returning with their latest haul.

8:00am – The Farmlink

During this highlights tour, we will visit the Farmlink (Pepper Farm). The Farmlink was created in 2006 by a small group of European expatriates living in Kampot. They made the observation that Cambodia, but Kampot Province in particular is rich in high quality natural products that would be appreciated by fine food enthusiasts across the world. They also noted that although Cambodian farmers have a high level of expertise in traditional agricultural production methods, they did not have the knowledge or experience to access overseas markets. 

9:00am – Traeuy Kaoh Pagoda

Then we continue to Traeuy Kaoh Pagoda to discover about the Buddhist religion and stories, receive a blessing from a Buddhist monk, see a Cambodian school. 

10:00am – Local Market

Afterwards, we explore the busily local market and stroll along the waterfront and observe the local people going about their lives.

11:00am – Tour Ends

Our tour comes to an end and our guide and driver will transfer you back to your hotel.
