Phnom Penh FAQ!

Phnom Penh has grown to become a very large city in recent years, but it still has the feel of being much smaller than it is. Most tourists will stay around the riverside area and this is where you’ll find most bars and restaurants.

Just like any big city, visitors are advised to exercise caution and be careful. However, crime against foreigners is rare and most will have a trouble-free visit. This isn’t to say that you shouldn’t be wary of your surroundings.

Phnom Penh is a very accessible city. All roads in Cambodia eventually lead to the city, so you can get buses and taxies to and from Phnom Penh to anywhere in Cambodia and also neighbouring countries.

There’s also an international airport with direct flights to other Asian destinations.

There are many hotels of each type in Phnom Penh from small guesthouses to large 5-star resorts. Most of our guests who book our tours will already have their own accommodation. If you need help to arrange a hotel, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
