VN-05: EXPLORING HOCHIMINH CITY – VUNG TAU BEACH - MEKONG DELTA 5DAYS / 4NIGHTS

 

Tour Itinerary

 

Day 01: Ho Chi Minh city Arrival (City tour depends on your arrival time) (D)

Meet on arrival at Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport and transfer to hotel. Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by many locals, is a center of commerce, finance, culture and tourism in Vietnam. This afternoon  The sightseeing tour(Depends on the arrival time) acquaints us with the city's major sights. We pass the now-demolished wartime American Embassy before exploring the Reunification Palacewhich was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until end of April 1975. Close to this palace are some French colonial structures including the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Old Sai Gon Post Office. Then, we continue our trip on to the bustling Ben Thanh Market where anything and everything is for sale.Dinner on floating restaurant  and cruise on Saigon River & Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

 

Day 02: HCM Cu Chi tunnels- Vung Tau Beach (B/L)

Breakfast at the hotel,at 08:00 ,we drive to Cu Chi (75 km northwest of Ho Chi Minh City) to visit an amazing complex of underground tunnelsthe former stronghold of Viet Cong with a network of tunnels three levels deep stretching over 200km. Return Ho Chi Minh City. Lunch at local restaurant.After lunch transfer to Vung Tau. About 2 hours by coach, this lovely city has 4 main unspoiled beaches to choose, from relaxation to water activities.visit to Thang Tam Temple(the whale temple).Accommodation at hotel in Vung Tau.

 

Day 03: Vung Tau – HCM city (B/L)

Morning breakfast at hotel Free for swimming at the bach beach. Check-out the hotel,visit Christ Hill and the White palace(Now a museum) ,transfer to a local restaurant for lunch. Afternoon transfer back to Hochiminh city. Rest time for leisure and shopping tour at Tay Son lacqueware workshop. Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh

 

Day 04: Full day HCM – My Tho (B/L)

After breakfast at hotel, At 08:00 our tour guide will take you to the Mekong Delta. Arrive My Tho city,get on private boat(with cover) cruise on theMekong river(Tien river) visit Quy island,enjoy tropical fruits in the orchard. Continue to a part of Bentre province you will have the opportunity to watch local villagers producing coconut candy in the  workshop, 5 minute trekking on the village way and try rickshaw or cart (draw by horse),Cruising through the smaller canals on local sampans, try honey in bee keeping house…Lunch at a local restaurant with specialty of Mekong region: Deep fried “Elephant ear fish” rolled with rice papper …Afternoon,drive back to Ho Chi Minh city. Overnight in HCMC.

 

Day 05:  HCM city – Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure or shopping until transfer to the airport for flight departure.
